Serving Washington, DC and the World
We live in one of the most beautiful, complicated, powerful, crime-ridden,
poverty-stricken cities in the world. Leaders come here from all around
the world on behalf of their native countries and their home towns. Some
notice the poverty, disease, crime, and hopelessness faced by many who
live here. Few do anything about it.
We couldn't help but notice: we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves.
Urban Ministry Council
Our Urban Ministry Council works to foster ministries of mercy
and justice in the city. Whenever possible, we form partnerships with
other churches and ministries,
encouraging our members to come
alongside existing outreaches and
programs. We work together in
teams through the Resurrection Groups of the church.

International Partnership Council
Our International Partnership Council coordinates mission efforts
around the world. Because Resurrection is a mission of the
Anglican Church of Rwanda to the United States, we are
particularly connected to the nation of Rwanda. We are paired
with a sister church in Nyagatare (Gahini Diocese), Rwanda, and
we collaborate in ministry through a dynamic partnership. We also
routinely support and participate in other opportunities for mission
and service internationally. For more information, please email
ipc@rezchurch.org.
European Partnership Fund
Our European Partnership Fund is a means for our congregation and
others to plant seeds for new congregations to be established in post-
Christian Europe. Our envoy, the Rev. Christian Hofreiter, is currently
completing a theological education program at Oxford so that he might
lead a new church-planting team in Austria. For more information on
this program, contact info@rezchurch.org.
