Belong

Imagine a community in which people really care for one another.
Not just the beautiful people, or the people who have it all together.
Imagine a gathering in which real people, even broken people, are truly loved.
Loved enough to be accepted and welcomed as they are, yet assured
of the challenges to grow and change that come through true friendship.
The first Christians lived their lives together in this way. We want to live
this way too.

We're not quite there yet. But that's where grace comes in, and there's
plenty to go around for those who would like to join in.

Believe

The earliest Christians were convinced that Jesus was nailed to a cross
and died on what is now called Good Friday. Then, by the greatest
of all miracles, he came back to life on the first Easter. His resurrection
meant for them the repair of a broken past, hope for the present, and
the promise of eternal life together in the future.

In celebration of Jesus' resurrection, they began a tradition of meeting
each Sunday to worship him in prayer, word and song, and to celebrate
a festive and holy meal together in the presence of God. We continue
this tradition every Sunday at 5 pm, more or less following the same
outline as most Christians since the ancient church, but filling in the
details with the music and language of the present.

After worship, around 7 pm, stick around for an informal gathering
and refreshments. Meet new friends, ask questions, find out how
to get involved.
